Martin Rahm is an Associate Professor of Theoretical Chemistry at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. His research group develops and applies theoretical and quantum chemistry methods to explore a diverse range of topics, including high-pressure materials science, origin-of-life chemistry, astrobiology, energetic materials, and quantum computation. Chemical bonding analysis plays a central role in these pursuits, and his group is advancing theories and methods that combine the perspectives of molecular orbital theory, reaction energy partitioning, and topological analysis.
